1. Overall system composition

Ice simulation system

Produce frozen clouds and mist with a certain diameter and content of liquid water.

Flight speed simulation system

Simulating icing test by driving a fan to generate a certain flow of circulating air

According to the typical icing state points of the test piece, the main technical indicators of the icing simulation system are as follows:

Water supply subsystem


Function: to provide pure water for the spray section. The water source of the water supply system is connected to tap water, through coarse filtration and fine filtration


Desalination, ionization and other treatments are carried out to reduce the electrical resistivity of water to above 10M Ω· cm, and a load-bearing platform is arranged.


Principle: The tap water provided by Party A is purified by a pure water machine and stored in a water tank

Function: provide atomizing air for the spray system, and blow dry the pipeline and nozzle after the spray stops. The simulated environment icing device simulates the icing conditions by atomizing gas and water in a gas-liquid two-phase nozzle in a natural low-temperature environment. In order to prevent liquid from freezing in low-temperature pipelines or nozzles and avoid damage to the test object after ice falls off, heated water and air are required to be arranged on the bearing platform.


Principle: Connect the ambient temperature compressed air provided by Party A to the atomization air subsystem, adjust the flow and pressure of the compressed air through an electric valve, and install a filter to ensure clean output air.
